Much ado about scripting, Linux & Eclipse: card subject to change

Twitter: who needs reliability? We have graphic designers.

Back from my Great Alaskan Wedding/Vacation, I decided to finally get on Facebook. Because I'm an IM junkie (actually, a Pidgin junkie) I immediately installed the Twitter application so that I can tweet my Facebook status updates.

That's when I noticed that Twitter's gtalk/jabber IM interface is broken... and has now been broken for at least a week, if not longer. Apparently it's being worked on and will be fixed Real Soon Now...

Today, I found this:

Twitter is over capacity.
Too many tweets! Please wait a moment and try again.

Twitter: Proving that reliability isn't important if your error messages are cute enough.

Gotta love the Eclipse Foundation's error messages! Punchy, graphical, easy to understand, and they convey exactly how to proceed. So unlike most in my collection.
